Inspiring Lives Training and Development Centre

When we took over Accept Care we noticed many people were bored when they returned from existing day services. We discovered people would spend all day with colouring books  and cutting out pictures from catalogues in noisy cold rooms. We thought we could do better. We established a service that has a range of activities and staffing levels that are probably double that of other services. We now several years on have a building to be proud of. We have a range of bespoke activities, people engage with and build a pictorial portfolio of the activities they have undertaken

At Inspiring Lives people take part with domestic tasks. Its fun, builds confidence and self esteem. We also help to teach people about the importance of a good balanced diet....well most of the time......

We do grow some food to eat with our lunches when we can, subject to the seasons......
